About This Project:
Welcome to the newest Clayton Brothers project, Soul Brothers Saturday Night Special.Jeff and I, as well as the other members of the quintet, are very excited to share our new music with you. This time around, we wanted to give you some insight on what makes this band so special by sharing music that comes from the depths of our souls as individuals, musicians, and “family” members. The Clayton Brothers quintet (John Clayton, Jeff Clayton, Terell Stafford, Gerald Clayton and Obed Calvaire) will create music that reflects our love of this American art form as well as each other. This will be new, fresh music that acts as a prism through which one can hear the life and familial experiences we have had. The Clayton brothers are indeed Soul Brothers.
Join us, and you will be able to watch the compositions unfold, see rehearsals from each of our perspectives as leaders, discover how we problem solve, be updated as we progress, and more.
